Saturday was the Marys River Quilt Guild's annual Quilts in the Garden tour. This year, the tour was held in Corvallis, Oregon, and featured seven residential gardens. The quilts at each home were grouped in one or more of several categories, including garden themes, challenge quilts, celebration quilts, art quilts, contemporary quilts, mini and small quilts, and fruit and vegetable quilts. As the pictures show, the gardens were as varied as the quilts. It was an inspiring day for this novice quilter and lazy gardener.
One of the gardens had beautiful fruit trees (peaches above, plums below).
These pink hibiscus flowers had to be at least 8 in. in diameter. I've never seen anything like them.
